I grew up in the kitchen - I was always hanging around observing. I had my own Fisher Price Play Kitchen and I absolutely adored that thing. I love to create and cook (and I also love giving gifts) I started playing around with salt blends around 5 years ago and gave them to friends and family as gifts.
One summer night, sitting around the table after one too many wines with some wonderful friends, we started discussing the salt blends & how they would make really good presents - the gift that keeps on giving.
With a big push of encouragement from my adoring husband, Salts & Spice Co. was born.
My launch date was August 1st 2020 I was probably ready to launch about 6 months prior - but I wanted every aspect of my business to be perfect!
We live on a little hobby farm in North Wangaratta, NE Victoria. With all this space I'm able to grow herbs, lemons and oranges which I use in my jars.
I have recently renovated my shed, it's a colourful space that helps me get into a creative mindset.
My products have no additives, preservatives, numbers, anti-caking agents or nasties in them. The whole range is free from gluten, dairy & nuts. Everything is also suitable for vegans & vego’s (including the chicken salt, no chickens were harmed in making it!).
